As the human and I did not share any duties during this particular cycle, I decided now might be a fitting time to inform the Vitrichl about the aforementioned book, which could possibly grant a further insight into Terrans.

Despite the quite serious circumstances we are currently in, I was able to secure a time frame to initiate a conversation regarding this topic.

I repeated the information V-7 had been able to conjure on this as well as other stories and reports on humans.

"There seems to be one…obstacle, though: The book‘s last documented location is in system Skė-51-33, which does not seem to be even remotely near our current route.", I eludicated.

The Vitrichl seemed to consider the information given, keeping in mind the reason the SIIR Noxos usually avoids this particular system: its unfriendly and occasionally aggressive nature.

Concluding, I was able to convince the Vitrichl through the benefits this book could provide in the task of studying humans, causing the Vitrichl to eludicate that changing the route was currently not possible, but as soon as the chance was offered to us, we would make a short detour through this system to retrieve said book, given that the book was still located there.

In the meantime, I was tasked with retrieving as much possible information on this particular and other sources about humans.

Our arrival on Fendaar is imminent, as we are nearing the planet‘s atmosphere. Further reports will follow.

man. I've been reworking a lot of content involving Act II of Home Is Where You Are and like. ugh. it'd work so freaking well in novel form but I just Do Not have the dedication or the drive to start from scratch and rewrite everything that happens.

idk how else to share the updated version of that part of the story with y'all tho, considering that Khalan's journal is insanely outdated now and isn't entirely canon anymore, so I'll probably just have to accept that I likely won't ever be able to update the story for y'all in the way I wish I could. >n<;;

shoutout to me in 8th grade playing pseudo-hockey during PE and it was a dress up day for some reason so i had on this mauve silk shirt and i had developed the slightest reputation as a good goalie for my class despite not playing any actual sports

and anyway it was pseudo-hockey cause it was a tennis ball instead of a hockey puck, which was fine except for the fact that tennis balls bounce and also no one had armour on and so when poor poor james ran up with his stick and hit he managed to give it enough bounce to shoot me directly in the nose with the tennis ball, causing my very sensitive nose to start gushing blood overdramatically and me to hold my entire face causing my classmates to think i knocked out a tooth and poor poor james immediately walked me to the nurses office

i blocked the shot though. i DID bleed on my cool shirt which was sad but i did do my job and returned to being goalie with tissue up my nose

I can't go five minutes in DW fandom without people being just atrociously mean about things that I love with the blissful unawareness of majority mainstream opinion holders that the people they're being mean about are like.
